True quality is found in the full composition, not just a single metric. While mass-market 'high counts' are often a distraction, elite textiles, crafted from ultra-fine, long-staple fibers, can achieve high thread counts that remain exceptionally light and breathable.

Cotton and Linen
Yes. High-quality natural fibers like those in our cotton and linen collections are designed to evolve. While your bedding arrives exceptionally smooth, the fibers will continue to "bloom" and relax with every wash. This process increases suppleness and creates a buttery, lived-in feel without ever compromising the strength or structure of the weave.

Micromodal / Plant Fiber
No. because it starts at peak softness. Micromodal is engineered for immediate, extreme silkiness. Unlike natural fibers that require a "break-in" period, Micromodal remains consistent from day one. It is designed to stay exactly as soft as the day you first touched it, resisting the hardening or pilling often seen in lesser materials.

Yes. We strongly recommend experiencing the fabric before ordering. You can order fabric samples here. The cost of the samples can be credited toward a bedding purchase made within 30 days.

We do not mass-produce finished inventory. Most items are produced specifically for your order. Manufacturing typically takes 5–7 business days, after which your order is shipped. You will receive updates at every stage.

For standard-size items kept in stock, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal, provided the items are unused, unwashed, and returned in their original packaging.

• Aura and Eleia bedding collections: Due to their high level of exclusivity these collections are strictly made to order. Because these items are handcrafted specifically for your request, they are considered final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

BRUNI specializes in made-to-order bed linen. We reject overproduction and mass sizing in favor of intentional craftsmanship and long-term use. While most items are produced on demand, we maintain a limited stock of standard sizes to optimize fabric usage and allow immediate availability at our showroom in Bratislava.

Yes. BRUNI is a family-owned brand built on decades of textile and interior expertise developed through the founder of Ambiente Design studio.

All BRUNI bed linen is manufactured in small villages in Slovakia in collaboration with experienced ateliers and seamstresses. This allows us to preserve traditional craftsmanship while ensuring consistent quality.

Our fabrics are sourced exclusively from established mills in Northern Italy. Pillows and duvets are produced in the Czech Republic.

Wash at 40°C or 60°C using a mild liquid detergent depending on fabric and color. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners, as they reduce breathability. Full care instructions can be found here.

Natural fibers may shrink slightly. Our patterns account for this, ensuring your bedding reaches its intended fit after the first wash according to care instructions.

Air drying is recommended. If using a dryer, select a low-heat setting. Iron on medium heat while slightly damp for best results. Our washed linen should not be ironed at all, to ensure the desired lived-in look.

Yes. Outdoor drying is encouraged, but avoid prolonged exposure to strong direct sunlight to preserve colour.
